MAY 2023
The Sony Center dome
Let's go on a new journey! This time I'm going to Berlin, to discover the A MAZE festival that has intrigued me for years. This event presents video game experiences halfway between Art and video games and I can't wait to know if it will inspire me!
On the way, I take the opportunity to return to the Sony Center in Potsdamer Platz. I have always liked the atmosphere under its inverted dome.
Are we inside or outside?

And the BahnTower in Potsdamer Platz:
On the second day, I'm going to Silent Green, the place of the festival for an intense day of conferences! I don't know the program and I discover the themes as I go along, like games and studios that I didn't know like Journey of the Broken Circle or Demagog Studio. The speakers present games and artistic and video game experiences, transmedia, which are very far from my daily life in "classic" gaming. It's very refreshing and exactly what I came to Berlin for.
The festival takes place in a former crematorium 😶
As the website suggests, I go with the flow!
Next day, this time the theme is sociability. I am starting from scratch, or almost, to create my professional network in Germany. I'm spending lunch and dinner with groups that I found on discord, interesting meetings that could be fruitful later?

I'm heading back on Sunday, 4th day of the trip. It's great, I was missing Frankfurt already! Something could have happened while I wasn't there... 😄
Frankfurt's fomo is real 😂
Next goal: waking up the Frankfurt indie video game community! June will be athletic!!!
